Inclusion at EKFB
We are committed to stopping discrimination and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) at EKFB and across the C23 project.

We do this using data from our six-monthly EDI survey, meaning we can compare results and track our progress
Our Respect campaign focuses on driving a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all.
As well as providing resources for our sites to start meaningful conversations on EDI and running a calendar of EDI-related events, we have a team of Inclusion Champions who receive training on inclusive practices and learn how to support a positive culture in the workspace.

"As an Inclusion Champion I am involved in fostering an inclusive workplace that harbours a positive community who feel that they are heard and seen, and in turn valued. We promote equal opportunities, recognise varied backgrounds, help to foster a sense of belonging and promote fairness in the workplace for all. EDI to me means speaking up and having the courage to act and advocate for positive behaviours in the workplace. It’s about understanding, learning and helping to break down barriers for people who feel excluded or unable to fully participate in the workplace or society. It means challenging systems and stereotypes, questioning the norm and doing it consistently."
