EKFB, the civil engineering joint venture of Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM Nuttall, has today updated its Senior Leadership Team and appointed Raúl Pascual to the position of Performance Director.
With more than 17 years’ experience in major civil infrastructure and building projects across multiple countries Raúl has been appointed to the role to oversee the project controls, information management, and innovation functions and will replace Emmanuel Rossignol, who was recently promoted to Deputy Project Director.
Raúl joined EKFB in August 2020 as Construction Director for the Aylesbury Area, which will deliver 14km of EKFB’s 80km HS2 project. That vacant role will be filled from 17 May by Ignacio Chicharro, who is new to EKFB.
Raúl commented on his appointment, saying: “I am delighted to join the EKFB Senior Leadership Team at this exciting time. The digital transformation is here with us, and EKFB is leading the game. We will be using state-of-the-art tools for improving management decisions across our stretch of the HS2 project and this will create efficiencies across all teams and departments.”
Deputy Director Emmanuel Rossignol commented: “Raúl is joining the Performance Management team at a crucial time as our team grows and our supply chain expands. There is a lot of work to do in bringing everyone up to speed with performance and developing the function to its greatest potential.”
Project Director Peter Bimson said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Raúl into the Senior Leadership Team following the great work he has done in the Aylesbury Area so far. We are confident that Raúl’s extensive experience with projects all over the world will play an important role in shaping the future of our Performance Management team.”
