The EK apprentices were the driving force behind our Mental Health Awareness Day campaign this year, boldly leading on a number of initiatives to spread the message throughout the office.
HSRIT apprentices Megan Foster and Adam Fare delivered a presentation to the whole team, touching on what mental health means, how our industry is widely affected, services available and even anecdotes of how mental health issues have featured in their own lives.
Throughout the day there was also the chance to participate in therapeutic crafts sessions and play board games including Jenga in the well being room to highlight the importance of taking some time out to de-stress with peers during busy periods at work.
Additionally the Team Apprentice gave a mental health quiz with prizes and encouraged the wider team to wear green in recognition of the day.
