Eiffage Kier votes to support Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Last month three local charities were invited to the Eiffage Kier offices to talk to staff about why they should be EK's nominated charity partner whilst the headquarters are in the second city.

Representatives from the charities joined staff in the kitchen for lunch time talks about their organisations, including Sifa Fireside, who provide support and services for the homeless and St Marys Hospice, whose volunteering opportunities included a 15 mile trek and the chance to run a charity shop for the day.

The final talk and winner of the Eiffage Kier vote was the Birmingham Children’s Hospital charity, whose funding supports projects outside the remits of the NHS to give children higher quality of life, offering volunteering opportunities such as decorating the ward at Christmas or an Easter Egg hunt.
