The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for young people in the UK.

This year it took place from Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th March at the NEC in Birmingham and SEE & EDI representitives went along to represent Eiffage Kier.
The event drew in thousands of students and teachers from different schools across the country over the course of the four days, and EK were part of the HS2 stand along with the other Joint Venture partners.
Throughout the day the interactive and educational stand attracted students and teachers from different schools across the country along with future potential employees. As well as sharing project plans, staff took on suggestions and ideas from visitors, with the overall aim to improve the image of the industry, stimulate interest in STEM, inspire underrepresented groups, signpost career pathways and support with career guidance.
