PR/Communications
In this role you would be responsible for handling the organisation’s image, branding and reputation. You would assist with the promotion of activities both internally and externally. If you like a challenge, this role could be for you.
What would I do?

Planning public relation campaigns
Monitoring the public and media’s perception of your client or organisation
Writing leaflets, brochures, newsletters, websites, press releases
Photographic library coordination
Looking after the corporate image and guidelines
Arranging events; such as press launches, news conferences, exhibitions, open days
Developing good working relationships with the media
Public speaking at presentations, conferences, interviews
Representing the organisation at events
Possible duties:

Skills needed
Your work would generally be office based, but you will be required to travel to projects and public relation events. Working hours would generally be Monday – Friday, 35-40 hours per week.
What to expect

Starting salaries can be around £16,000 to £20,000 per year

With experience this can rise up to £40,000

It will be helpful to have a degree in public relations or another relevant subject such as journalism, advertising, marketing or communications
